We approached Emma to take the photos on our special day & right from the outset we knew she was the right person for the job. With the added complexity of our day being a surprise wedding, Emma went above & beyond to capture the day. A sunrise photo shoot, just the 3 of us, followed by the afternoon’s festivities, Emma was there and didn’t miss a thing. Our images garner ‘oooh’s’ & ‘aaah’s’ from all who see them, we love them & will forever remember our day through Emma’s eyes!

One glance at these photos and I feel incredibly lucky. We had Emma come to our home and capture the girls together shortly after our youngest was born. The photos are candid, intimate, relaxed and perfectly capture the love. We couldn’t be happier with them. As we hurtle towards Maggie’s first birthday, I often find myself scrolling through our pictures and remembering that afternoon when the wonderful Emma Holcroft came to our house. How Maggie screamed and screamed, how Riley was impossible to catch as he raced past with his truck or the laundry trolley, and how our laughter bordered on hysterical because we were so, so tired…but we were so desperately in love with our busy blonde boy and our sweet baby girl that we hardly noticed.

I cannot rave enough about Emma Holcroft. She beautifully captured my pregnancy with gorgeous pictures that I will treasure forever. She’s a true professional and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole shoot. She listened to my requests and used her skilled eyes to take some truly magical photos. She also took photos of the day my partner and I arrived home with our baby boy from hospital. It can be a nervous time for parents, but Emma made us all feel at ease and we went on with our business like she wasn’t even there. It was the first time our family were captured on camera and I am so happy she was there to record those memories. I will look back on these photos forever with warm and fuzzy feelings.

Emma’s photos give us so much joy! Emma has been documenting my family as we have grown from two to three to four. Each time she captures us just as we are (only slightly prettier and better dressed than usual!). I am always surprised when I get the photos back that not only has she captured our personalities perfectly but she also includes the little things, the inconsequential-to-some-but-important-to-me things. My great-grandmother’s ring I wear, the presents from our friends and family for our new baby, favourite toys, favourite outfits and special (and funny) family moments.
I have recommended Emma to countless friends. No one ever regrets their decision to hire Emma. She’s a gem! (I should also add that I am very uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Emma is still able to capture nice photos. I have framed the photos – even the ones with me in them – and put them around the house and given them as presents to the family. She is very talented.)
