I’m Emma, but you can call me Em! Before I get to know you, here’s a little bit about me...

I’m wife to Ben and Mummy to Evie and Peggy. Our Jack Russell - Hercules completes our family (and oversees all editing production from his sunny napping spot by my desk).

I’m an optimist, glass half full kinda gal. When I’m not out shooting, or in full Mum mode, you’ll find me at my laptop, coffee in hand, sporting some oversized earrings for sparkle, with the trusty puppies by my side. I’m a Canon shooter on the job, prefer film for funsies and use my trusty iPhone for everyday life. Whenever possible, as a family, we love to shoot off for a weekend of camping, anywhere there is open space and fresh air in good supply.

Taking photos thrills my heart space! Be it weddings, family portraits, newborn babies or anything people related. I love getting caught up in the details and believe it adds depth to my work as a story teller. I notice the small things: what the weather’s doing, what’s on the mantelpiece, the way your love looks at you, how they hold your hand, swing your little one round or snuggle your new tiny baby. At your wedding I’ll be able to tell you which friend laughed the loudest, hugged the hardest, or wiped a hidden tear. I won’t interrupt but will capture the quiet minute you take to read a special handwritten note from Grandma or that quick peck on the cheek before you walk down the aisle. These small moments help me capture your story and create a powerful collection of images that represent you at this time in your life.

My aim is to evoke feelings that punch you in the heart, over and over, time and time again.
